Regular Events:

Each spring we have a Stay-at-Home Tea to raise funds for the NBLC. In 2009 this campaign raised $480.00. The first year of this event we raised $1,500.00 and the next year we raised $750.00. Economic times have really hurt the fund raising efforts as you can see.

August 29, 2009 marked the first of what will become an annual Arrest Illiteracy event. Games, Food, Book Fair and much more awaited our visitors as we raised $600.00 from their generosity. We hope to have much more to do for the next upcoming years for this event.

Each year we participate in the Bay Minette Christmas Fest. We have a book fair at Christmas Fest in collaboration with Usborne Books, Barnes and Noble, and Books-A-Million.

Past Events:

Our Sandspur Concert event held approximately 40 in attendance on June 8, 2009 and raised $200.00. We thank all who attended and hope everyone enjoyed the great music.

The Magic of Reading: This event was presented by Benjamin Franklin (aka Rich Davis) in February 2009. This program was written by Quincy Compressor Corp.
